A Bit About Kappa Delta
Kappa Delta was founded in 1897 and we currently have 166 active chapters around the nation. Our sorority was founded by four women at the State Female Normal School in Virginia, and our symbols are the Nautilus shell, dagger, pearl, emerald, and diamond. A national organization for women, we strive to build confidence and inspire action in others. Each year we work with the PCAA and Silicon Valleys YWCA by raising money through our annual philanthropy "Shamrock Showcase"! We are a sisterhood above all and enjoying spending time with one another, whether it be getting ready for formals or studying together. Our goal is to instill confidence in our members and create memories that last past your time at SJSU.
